Fr. Joseph Isreal, the new Superior General of the ALCP community (Dec 3, 2007)

Jason Turk (Chairman of the Board of Directors) and John Becker (Founding President Worldwide Seminarian Support), sincere thanks for yesterday’s e-mail. On my part, may I express my thanks to the Board of Directors of Worldwide Seminarian Support for congratulating me as the successor of Fr. Amedeus Macha. I did not expect to be elected, but when it happened, I said: let God’s will be done. I appreciate very much your concern to ALCP/OSS Society. It brings joy and hope when while having an important events like the General Chapter and elections, you know that there is someone behind praying for you.

I am really encouraged to hear from you that you will continual to support the ALCP/OSS spiritually and materially. I have to confess openly that without your financial support the priests and the seminarians we have now would not be there. You have contributed a lot to make our Society grow. God alone can compensate you. We shall continue to pray for you and your families so that God will pour abundant blessings
on you. I will try to arrange my timetable so as to be able to attend 15th anniversary mass of Worldwide Seminarian Support. The Secretary General of the Society is Fr. Innocent Masaule. He will be responsible with all the communications with WSS. In case you need any information, please contact him. Again, sincere thanks and greetings to the Board of Directors and the benefactors who have been helping and are helping us up to this moment.

 Fr. Joseph Israel
 Superior General
